All's Well?

Got the call tonight that Dad went through surgery fine and now stays in the hospital for the next few days. My mom is the one who is talking to him so I can't play the 'Spanish Inquisition' on the guy. So I'm taking things as good news until I hear otherwise.

The living room has now been re-painted to an earthier shade - much better. I'm thinking the dining room is next but I learned all my mistakes on the L/R so hopefully there won't be buckets of trauma.

Today is my Aunt's B-day so I'm going to my Mom's tonight for dinner. I was exhausted last night when I got up so went back to bed at 9:30pm and got up at 3:30am. Have no clue what that is going to do to the ol' sleep clock.

Other than that, I'm hanging on my by toes.

So, you know, situation normal

Cin-deeeeeee! It's been forever, or, like, you know... over a month at least. I've been reading your back posts all the way to the end of October. I had to in order to catch up from when I fell into the black hole called my real life.

Lots to say, so naturally I made a list.

1. Good news about your Dad. My Dad had something similar last year and is fit as a fiddle now. I'm sending good thoughts and prayers your way.

2. I had a good chuckle over your painting adventures. GG hides when I get in my head to start a project because I'm relentless and always have a "picture" in my head of how I want it to look. So no more bubbles I'm guessing and the LR looks good...yes?

3. Remind me to tell you about the baby poop green wall in my living room someday.

4. Did I miss something? What book are you looking for?

5. I love the Christmas layout. I need a face lift so bad on my page, but just don't have the time to devote to it. I want to pay someone like I did last time. So neat, so tidy, so easy.

It's good to be back in the swing of things and catching up with people.

I thought I posted well wishes about your dad, but apparently my comment was eaten by gremlins. Anyhow- best wishes for his continuing good health. How's your kitty doing?

Other than painting, are you ready for Christmas?

Rosie!!!!

1. That is fantastic news - I'm hoping the prostrate was just irritated and that it'll be smooth sailing from here on in!
2. I'll be posting pics just as soon as I figure out where I hid the camera!
3. Tell me about the baby poop green walls ;)
4. Ah, The Quest by Kristie - don't worry, she'll find you yet ;)
5. I just wanted to feel the spirit and every once in a while I hear a voice singing Christmas carols and dang if it ain't me!

Bookwormom -
Thanks - we're all hopeful for my dad.

Emma is one gorgeous kitty now!! Her fur is like silk, she's gained weight and she's happy as a clam. I'll be taking her in a day a week for the next few weeks to get her glucose checked and the insulin ironed out. Couldn't be happier with the results!

And I'm never ready for Christmas but I got a good start at least!

How about you? I'll be hopping over to see what you've been up to.

Yay! Sounds like good news all around! Except maybe the painting issues. ;-)
