Nope, Not That

I know I don't have the great book blues.

Wait. That time change thing. Maybe that's what's got me off my rocker again.

Hey!

I'm so bored I feel like I overdosed on boredom. I have no inclination to do anything. TV? Boring. Internet? Boring. (I've already done the blog loop and now I got nothing) Reading? Just not into it.

So I'm feeling meh, blechy, yetch.

And bored.

Still, I thought I could mention a few things.

It's March break so my best bud who is a teacher is coming down on Thursday for a visit so no boredom on that day!

Friday 'the husbands' are out so Sue and I are going to get together and order in KFC for us and the Godchildren. I really thought I would see them more over the break but Bob is off sick so I am with him instead. He's better now but he will be taking tomorrow off as well. I'm one of those people who believes that when you are sick you should keep your ass at home. Period. I also don't think rushing back to work is a good solution either so I told Bob he was taking another day to get his bearings. Workaholics don't like to be told they can't go to work so I imagine someone will be crawling up the walls. I'm so going shopping tomorrow!

That's the other thing, shopping even bores me.

Sorry, we'll move on.

Bob's birthday is next week and I don't have a clue. Not one iota. So that's bugging me as well. I thought about a massive (20' long) outdoor canvas pergola but they seem to only sell nice ones in 10 x 10 or 13' by 13'. So I'm still in euchred land.

Okay, Amber just crawled up on my chest so I'll sign off before she decides my typing is annoying her and starts to bite.

Oh Cindy, I'm so sorry that you're bored! Me too, actually... although I'm so busy! I hope you'll find something to buy tomorrow! Also hope that Bob will get better soon! At least, he's at home with you...

Is that you the cat is relaxing on? If so you have very pretty hands! I'm jealous. Mine are about the size of my daughter's and about as wrinkly as my 74-y-o mom.

Hope the boredom blahs leave you! Have fun with your friend. :o)

I hate being bored too but I'm glad you still blog. I love orange kitties. I had one named Lucy a long time ago. Anyway, did I mention that my Bob's birthday is March too? Hehehe. It's Saturday so I'll probably get him a funny card and take him to dinner. I gave up buying him gifts because what can you get a man who has two pickups and every tool and golf accessory known to mankind. Not really but he has a credit card and is not afraid to use it. Aren't they annoying when they're sick. Hope he feels better soon. He's lucky to have you to take care of him. :)

Nath - Bob's back to work so yes, he is feeling much better - I just have so many books to read I feel bad when I feel bored - there's just no need for it! I think you can be crazy busy and still feel boredom or maybe it's more of a rut feeling. Hope it passes for you also.

Jenster - can you send me a pocket you ;) You would do my ego great ;) Yep those are my hands and that's my Amber - I can't get a picture taken with the keyboard and her on my chest - she's almost wrapped around my neck. I've always enjoyed my hands - used to get told I had the hands of a pianist - too bad I never trained hard enough to play professionally.

Renee - Well, of course your Bob's birthday is in March ;) I'm with you, Bob's got plenty and really I do also so neither of us ever want for anything. We went out last night because Bob wanted a flat screen 15" TV for the kitchen and we found one on sale but it was still a chunk of change but I said to him afterwards - Happy Birthday! Only because I'm sucking wind over here - I bought him Home Depot cards for valentine's day and he hasn't even used them yet! So that's not on par.

Oh, and orange cats are my weakness! Bob and I went to the Humane Society 12 yrs ago because Bob knew I wanted an orange cat - we saw her and we've always told her how we can't believe anyone would put her in a cage. Wait, I think she's 13 like Cody. Holy crap, this is getting to be too much!! I had an orange cat at my parents so when Bob was 'wooing' me he bought me a cat. Now that he has me he says NO MORE CATS (I only have two!) I think I'll be able to sway him in the summer ;)
