*deep breath in* SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE !!!!!
It's a Postal Day Miracle!!
Coming in at somewhere around 455 pages this little delight showed up in the mail TODAY!!
Course, I can't read it because I am reading Lord Perfect which has become much better.
I slobbered all over the book while showing my husband and he looked at me and said 'gee, I don't get greeted like that'.
I'm thinking 'go away for a week and see what kind of slobber I can come up with' ;)
Now, if you'll excuse me.
*deep breath in* SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE !!!!!!!!!!

Well, damn, I'm pea green with envy. I expect a full report from you.
Green, too. Amazon won't ship it until next week. Darn.
Have a great time reading LP, and then LE. Squee away!
Nah, not slobber so much as squeal and fondle. That's not much better is it?

one more green here!!
I went searching yesterday and now I'm stuck home with a sick child, and probably wont get back out until Monday, which I think is the release date.

Yay! It came! I can see you doing the snoopy dance from here :)
I guess we're going on blog silence for a while you read Lord Perfect and then this, eh? ;)
Keishon - I consider Dark Lover a keeper but if it was for recommendation I would go B-.
Here's where I blogged about it.

There are things that grate in the book but I fell head over heels in love with Butch and Zsadist better stay as crazy as he seems! I'm hoping that the author remains true to the characters. In this, I mean like Brockmann changing all her characters into the same man. Yetch. (I think you know what I mean as you stopped reading her eons ago)
If Ward can stay true to the characters then I truly believe this will be an excellent series. I just don't like when they remove the fangs of the scary characters. Leave the fangs in and give them a female who's not afraid to grab them by the fang ;)
Tara Marie - Ohh, sooo sorry about junior not feeling well. Poor little guy. Hope he feels better right NOW! Didn't work, eh? If you have a sicky the odds of you getting to read are slim to none anyway.
Jay - yeah, maybe some blog silence - I might put up real easy stuff that everyone will go - wha!?

I had the same kind of squeee moment last weekend when I found a copy at Borders. I call it a book-gasm, which makes my non-reading friends laugh.
I would say that Ward has NOT defanged Rhage. Happy reading!
