Fessing Up

I did a little search through a few local Chapters inventory for a certain book because I heard some rumblings that others had found it.

Not only were there multiple stores with copies but one store reported having 8 in stock!!!

Bob, bless him, was forced to drive me to the Burlington Indigo bookstore so that I could pick up Cold As Ice by Anne Stuart (OMG, I love her new website design!!). *sigh*

I'm not allowed to read it yet because there is another book that must be read first. Yes, I'm deliberately not saying which book this is.

I'm always just happier when I have the book I want in my house. After that, I'll get to it when I can. Since books I ache for are few and far between it's always nice to keep from reading a book you know your going to love.

Yes. I pre-ordered this book online. Yes, the book will eventually show up and have to be returned. Okay, returning a Stuart? Not sure it can be done but, I soooo don't care.

Nothing else is up because I am trying to get my blog rounds up to speed. I missed so much (Suisan!! and Nicole!!) but I am catching up on everything I missed so hopefully I will be caught up by Monday night.

I looked this one up too since I heard the same rumblings but Chapters said it wasn't out yet! I didn't look any further! Must do this NOW.

And son of a gun - they have a few copies in the store in the mall right near me! I guess I know where I'll be going later today!

Her website looks so much better. Thanks for pointing that out...and I'm going to have to enter those two contests. *rubbing hands together gleefully* Maybe I'll actually luck out for once and win something.

Anyway Cindy, I remember I first commented on your blog because you mentioned something about Mike Holmes (Holmes on Homes). Right. So I wanted to share this link with you, because I love that show and this is hilarious:

Funny, no?

Hello Cindy :D

I'm pretty much the same as you... I always feel better when I have the books that I want in my possession. Doesn't matter if I have other books waiting to be read, at least I have the choice :D

The new site AS site is very cool. I could only wish my B&N will have a copy of COLD AS ICE. They are always so slow shelving anything, but I might go out later and try anyway...I can't wait to get my hands on that book!

I'm just now reading my first Anne Stuart--Lord of Danger. On your recommendation, I think? Wasn't it on your top 20 list? Anyway, I'm lovin' it! I can see why so many people are fangirls. :)

LMAO! You are like #1 fangirl. I'll be like #2 or something. But I warn you I am number 1 when it comes to A Rose at Midnight!!! That book was brilliant!!!! LOL.

What's your fave of hers?

Never mind, I saw. LOL. I love that one as well. How about To Love a Dark Lord? Is it one of your faves too? That one was also good!

I've got this on pre-order also, it's not coming until January, 'cause of ganging stuff up with Amazon.

I might just die a little death in the meantime.

Not that I would have time to read it, but I want it in my house! WANT, WANT, WANT.

Wah. Too bad my cheapness outweighs my fandom.

I still need to read Black Ice. But the buzz on this one makes me want to read them. I think I may have not read Anne Stuart yet.
